What is Koalas?

Koalas is a voluntary service located in a spacious building in Swindon, Wiltshire. We provide children who have special needs with the opportunity to play alongside children following their normal developmental path, in a friendly and safe environment. Parents and carers can gain support, information, advice and a few minutes to themselves and at the same time their children can gain new experiences through education and stimulation.

Our Aims:

For the children:

1. Gain new experiences.
2. Stimulation through play.
3. Helping them achieve their pull potential.
4. Education towards the Early Years Foundation Stage.

For the parents and carers:

1. Support.
2. Information.
3. Advice.

Our Staff:

All our staff are fully trained and have experience of working with children under 5 and/or children with special needs. The Manager is available for parents to chat to and takes care of the daily running of the group.
