IMPORTANT – GIFT AID
Gift Aid is a scheme used by charities and donors to reclaim tax on charitable donations. This means if you are a tax payer, Koalas can reclaim tax on your recorded donations. This increases the income to Koalas by 22%. For every £1 you give, Koalas will receive an extra 28p. This extra income is vital to us – PLEASE consider sending your form to us. Please print our gift aid form, sign and return.
Gift aid information for employers
To give through gift aid , a company simply gives their donation to the charity- the company does not deduct any tax from the donation and does not need to make a gift aid declaration to the charity. Tax relief is given by deducting the amount of the doantion from profits prior to calculating corporation Tax. For further details please contact your tax office.
