What is Koalas?

Koalas is a voluntary service located in a spacious building in Swindon, Wiltshire. We provide children who have special needs with the opportunity to play alongside children following their normal developmental path, in a friendly and safe environment. Parents and carers can gain support, information, advice and a few minutes to themselves and at the same time their children can gain new experiences through education and stimulation.

Koalas is currently looking to recruit Relief Assistant Playleader's who we can call upon during school holidays to work in our small team.

We are committed to Safeguarding children and will require any successful applicant to agree to an enhanced CRB disclosure. References will be taken up.

The successful applicant will be Early years trained and have expereince of working as part of a team. Experience of working with disabled children would be of benefit and a willingness to undertake further training.
